ED-EYE Outreach exists to improve lives by delivering accessible, high-quality eye care services and promoting eye-health awareness. The organization’s mission also includes supporting research and innovation, training future eye-care professionals, and partnering with communities and stakeholders to eliminate avoidable blindness and visual impairment.

Our journey
Two communities, one shared commitment.
Krisan Refugee Camp
Our maiden outreach took us to Ghana’s Western Region, where we screened 193 refugees and provided medications, readers, referrals and donations.
Cape Coast School for the Deaf and Blind
177 students and staff were screened, over 50 free prescription glasses were provided, and assistive and food items were donated to the school.
